Talking-Heads
RUMOURS
have emerged surrounding a proposed Talking Heads reunion in 2017.

One of the pioneers of what would soon be dubbed ‘art-rock’ and a group whose influence is still strongly felt to this day, the David Byrne fronted band exploded out of the bustling New York CBGB’s scene of the late 70’s and soon became stars on a global scale.

Formally disbanded since 1991, the rumours have been brewing ever since March when the news of a new album and tour were put forth US radio DJ Joe Rock, the news has now began to take shape after the comments of drummer Chris Frantz who claims ‘It should be true.’

A rather cryptic remark from the musician, it is hoped that he is stating that it should come to fruition in the near future and that plans are underway.

Their former frontman has been notoriously reluctant to return to his former glories, however it could be that he’s now ready to return to the acclaimed band behind 77, Fear Of Music and much more after decades of casting any reconvening aside.
