OVER the last couple of weeks we’ve been sharing Ryan Adams’ journey of Taylor Swift’s pop record 1989 as he’s been gifting the internet with studio snippets of her tracks. He’s now shared another two tracks posting the caption ‘finish line’ and the news that a final mix of the recordings is happening this week.

In what once seemed as an impossible task, Adams’ has proved to the world – and quite possibly millions of Swift fans that didn’t even know he existed – outstanding musicianship and skill turning already poptastic tunes into rootsy, blues drenched masterpieces, throwing in strings, bass and moody guitars to the mix.

What’s left, is the world longing for a full release of his version of the album. Adams’ has said the record has a rough mix but its unknown when we can expect its release. Until then, check out all snippets of the covers so far below:
