SAM FENDER has announced details of a huge Edinburgh show on 22nd August.

The Newcastle singer-songwriter will headline the Royal Highland Centre as part of this year’s Edinburgh Summer Sessions. Support will come from Olivia Dean.

He will also perform at Manchester’s Wythenshawe Park and Belfast’s Boucher Road Playing Fields as part of the VITAL series in August.

These dates follow the release of Fender’s third album ‘People Watching’, set to arrive on 21st February through Polydor Records. He is set to embark on a huge touring schedule this year, travelling across Europe, before taking on the London Stadium, three sold out nights at St James’ Park in Newcastle and much more.

Mark Currie, Royal Highland Centre Director of Venue, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Sam Fender to the Royal Highland Centre as part of the Summer Sessions. His incredible talent and energy make him one of the most exciting live acts around, and we know fans are in for an unforgettable night. The Summer Sessions continue to bring world-class artists to our stage here at Ingliston, and this is set to be one of the highlights of the year.”
