THE public vote for this year’s Scottish Alternative Music Awards has officially been opened.
Comprised of burgeoning homegrown talent from genres such as rock/alternative, hip-hop, acoustic, electronic and more, this year’s shortlists boasts an impressive array of acts whose fate has now been placed in the hands of the music consumers themselves.
With the ceremony itself set to take place on Thursday 25th October in the grandiose surroundings of Saint Luke’s & The Winged Ox, the awards will be distributed to their recipients alongside a backdrop of hotly-anticipated live performances from electronic subversive Blanck Mass and Scotland’s premier art-pop outfit The Vegan Leather.
