THE Scottish Music Industry Association has announced its vacancy for a new development manager.
A role which would implant its eventual recipient at the forefront of the nation’s music scene during a time of exponential growth, the Glasgow-based job would require an individual with both a passion for music and an encyclopaedic knowledge of the SMIA although previous music industry experience is not a requirement.
Based upon their main goal to “increase the value, grow the size and improve the sustainability of the music industry in Scotland”, the development manager post requires a professional with ” a proven track record in sales and business development, with experience of fundraising a useful extra” alongside an “open, innovative approach.”
With a minimum salary of £25,000, applications must be sent in by Friday 18th January with all further details available on their official site.
