THE line-up for the ‘Scotland at The Great Escape’ showcases have officially been confirmed, with support from Creative Scotland.

The first day features Blair Davie, MEMES, Taahliah, Kathryn Joseph and BEMZ. Day two’s line up comprises Retro Video Club, Medicine Cabinet, Dead Pony, Alex Amor and Hamish Hawk.

The showcases take place in One Church, Brighton from 12pm-5pm on Thursday 12th May and Friday 13th May, presenting a wide variety of emerging Scottish talent, encompassing hip-hop, post-punk, soul, dream pop and techno-infused electronic pop.

In addition to the artists playing the ‘Scotland at The Great Escape’ showcases, Gallus, Bonnie Kemplay, Swim School, Tamzene, Vlure and Voodoos are all set to play the festival.

Meanwhile, Wide Days will be hosting their annual Scottish networking reception at The Great Escape, in partnership with Creative Scotland, providing an opportunity for artists and music professionals to meet their international peers at what has become one of the most popular gatherings at the event.

Open to The Great Escape delegate pass holders, the reception will take place at the Old Ship Hotel, Brighton from 17.30-19.30 on Thursday 12th May.
