Tenement Trail T Break competition shortlist revealed following judges votes

TENEMENT TV are excited to reveal the shortlist of twenty bands who have made it to the final stages of the recently announced T Break competition.

Whittled down from thousands of fantastic entries, the esteemed judging panel featuring Sam Denholm of Distiller Records, Johnny Madden of Public Records, Chris McCourt of Atlantic Records and Sophie Roberts of 13 Artists have officially shared the twenty names who will battle it out for the top prize.

The renowned grassroots music initiative, created by Tennent’s Lager and made famous over the years at T in the Park festival, has returned for this year’s Tenement Trail and is offering unsigned artists the brilliant opportunity to open this year’s festival. The winning act will also win a legendary Tenement TV session and play at the soon-to-be announced pop-up TT17 pre-party.

The winner of the competition will be revealed on Monday 11^th September, after which they will join a line-up featuring some of the UK’s finest musical talent such as The Temperance Movement, The Big Moon, Louis Berry, Clean Cut Kid, The Ninth Wave, Catholic Action and more. This year’s Tenement Trail is set to be the biggest to date with over 50 bands scheduled to appear across 10 venues in Glasgow’s city centre over 12 hours.
