TITP - Main Stage night - 1THE decision on whether T in the Park can take place at the new location of Strathallan Castle is to be made tomorrow as a poll reveals over 60% of locals in favour of the move.

The results of the Survation poll, which was commissioned by T in the Park, found that 62 per cent wanted the planning application for the popular music festival to be approved.

The new poll, which surveyed 1,009 residents in the area, found that 62 per cent were in support of application, with 19 per cent against and 19 per cent saying they did not know.

The new site at Strathallan has already been given the green light by planning bosses, and is awaiting approval by Perth and Kinross councillors, who will vote on the plans tomorrow.

T in the Park takes place over 10th-12th July and will see the likes of Noel Gallagher, Kasabian, Jamie T, Slaves, The War on Drugs, Hozier and a host of up-and-coming acts in the T Break tent play over the weekend.
