THIS year’s Tenement Trail headliners Milburn confirmed to support The Courteeners on some of their UK tour dates.
With a lineup of support acts that will please the most ardent of indie fans, Tenement Trail headliners Milburn will be the main support in Leeds and Liverpool. The Sheffield favourites, who recently reunited following an eight year hiatus, are now enjoying a resurge in popularity and are set to go down a storm in the arenas. Elsewhere, The View will do the honours in Glasgow and Clean Cut Kid will also appear on all dates of the extensive tour.
The tour will support the release of The Courteeners’ forthcoming fifth album ‘Mapping the Rendezvous’, which is due for release on the 21st October via Ignition Records. Following on from previous single ‘The 17th’, the stomping new track ‘No One Will Ever Replace Us’ offers fans a preview of what’s to come on the new record.
Having gathered a cult following over the years, The Courteeners are now onto their fifth album and are ready to make the step up to arena-sized venues; they will be making their first appearance at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro Arena on November 19th . There will be an exclusive fan presale at 9am on Wednesday 31st August, before general sale at 9am on Friday 2nd September.
