TENNENT’S Lager, Scotland’s best-selling beer, is launching an exclusive pop-up gig venue: The OOOFT Licence. Headlined by LF System, the OOOFT Licence will open for one night only in a central belt location on 21st November 2024, giving music lovers the chance to catch incredible live DJ sets while picking up a cold beer.

Inspired by the classic off-licences across Scotland’s high streets, tickets to the OOOFT Licence are limited and will only be available in exchange for a can of Tennent’s. For the chance to attend, fans can simply take a can to the Tennent’s Visitor Centre on Tuesday 19th, or snap a picture of their can, and tag Tennent’s on their social media pages between Monday 18th to Wednesday 20th, with the gig’s full details ONLY revealed to those lucky enough to bag a ticket.

Scottish electronic DJ Duo, Conor Larkman and Sean Finnigan of LF System, originally from West Lothian, best known for their hit single ‘Afraid To Feel’, will headline the OOOFT Licence and play an exclusive set, among other upcoming Scottish DJs.

LF System said “A cold can of Tennent’s has been a huge part of our musical journey from the very beginning, as our choice of lager since we attended our first festival, so it feels fitting for us to get involved to help deliver the OOOFT Licence to Glasgow.”

The pop up venue is playfully named the OOOFT Licence in homage to the uniquely Scottish phrase adopted by the latest Tennent’s Lager campaign, launched in 2023. The activity celebrates the term’s many uses, communicating everything from the opening notes of a cracking song, to questionable fashion choices, missed goals, scored goals or that first sip of a cold pint of Tennent’s.

Joanne Motion, Senior Brand Manager at Tennent’s Lager said: “We all have a local off-licence we know and love, and now simply picking up a Tennent’s can deliver the best of Scottish beer and music in one can. Oooft.”

The OOOFT Licence will pop up on Thursday 21st November 2024. To get a ticket, music fans can bring a Tennent’s can to the Tennent’s Visitor Centre at 161 Duke Street on Tuesday 19th November, or share a photo of their can on social media tagging Tennent’s between Monday 18th to Wednesday 20th, for the chance to receive a ticket for two to attend the OOOFT Licence. Venue details will only be revealed on receipt of a ticket.
