AUSTIN psych-rockers The Black Angels have declared that album number five is now ‘underway’ on Facebook.
With no other information about the forthcoming release aside from a picture from the studio, the news has naturally been met with widespread excitement from their fans across social media.
It will be the first full-length release since Indigo Meadow came out in 2013, which was then followed by their seven-track EP ‘Clear Lake Forest’ in 2014. With a large and varied output since 2006, The Black Angels have developed into one of the flagship psych-rock bands of recent times, continuing to go against the grain and develop their musicianship while refusing to be derailed from their unique creative vision. Album number five is sure to follow suit.
