FOLLOWING a painfully long lay-off, it appears that Alex Turner and Miles Kane have reconvened and are finally working on a new album from The Last Shadow Puppets.
Having released the grand and dramatic The Age Of The Understatement in 2008 to much fanfare, the world was entirely unsure whether we’d ever receive a sophomore effort until a since deleted tweet from collaborator Owen Pallett surfaced online.
Speaking from his personal account,the revered artist and former Arcade Fire member tweeted in regards to “That rare and thrilling moment when the record you’re working on crosses the threshold into classic status #tlsp2.”
No official clarification of his remarks has been provided but it’s certainly got people very excited at the prospect of a new LP from Turner and Kane.
