THE
long awaited new album from The Last Shadow Puppets has finally been confirmed by the band themselves via a short teaser trailer.

The side project of Alex Turner and Miles Kane, the existence of the band’s first album since 2008’s phenomenal The Age Of The Understatement was initially made public by frequent collaborator Owen Pallett’s comments that the album had transcended into ‘classic status’.

After remaining incredibly coy about the new record, Alex and Miles have finally aligned themselves with the claims through a candid video which follows the pair as they drink, get haircuts  and stride confidently into the studio.

As the video reaches its conclusion with Alex Turner charismatically enquiring “what’s needing done then?”, the phrase “Spring 2016” flashes upon the screen, no doubt an early and relatively vague indication of when we can expect their new record.
