THE LIBERTINES have surprised fans with news of a UK tour which will bring them back to the iconic Glasgow Barrowlands.
Carl Barat recently revealed that writing sessions had already begun for the band’s fourth album. He said that they plan to write and record the follow-up to 2015’s Anthems for Doomed Youth’ as they complete work on their hotel, bar and studio complex in Margate.
With a couple of acoustic shows lined up in September, they have now announced that they will embark on a UK and European tour in the run up to Christmas.
Starting in Paris on the 27th October, the legendary indie heroes will appear at a number of venues around Europe before returning to UK soil where they will play Bournemouth, Leeds, Dundee, Glasgow, Manchester, Nottingham, Bristol and Birmingham before finishing with a date at the Brixton Academy in London.
