THE People’s Film Collective have revealed the live music announcement, confirming The Bar Dogs, Barrie-James O’Neill and Dan South will perform.
The Tenement TV Presents film club is a unique collective which will launch their first screening on 23rd February 2016 at Saint Luke’s church in Glasgow.
Set to screen cult films in unusual spaces, The People’s Film Collective is a unique offering in Glasgow, merging music and film celebrating the vibrant scene and passionate people.
The Baz Luhrmann Romeo & Juliet film was originally released in 1996, celebrating 20 years since it’s release this year. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Romeo, the film is a bold adaptation of the iconic William Shakespeare love story.
People’s Film Collective said: “We’re really excited about this collaboration and can’t wait to bring people together for our first event later this month. We want everyone to come together through love for film, music and Glasgow to experience something a little bit different.
“It’s not quite a gig, but it’s not quite a film screening either. It’s a unique merge of the two. We hope to see faces old and new in Saint Luke’s on the 23rd to share that together.”
Tickets are free for the launch of TPFC and available via here.
