THE STONE ROSES have announced that they will headline this year’s T in the Park as well as two dates at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium.
After constant speculation throughout the course of the day, the news initially surfaced via the band’s long defunct Twitter account before being confirmed by T in the Park and via Absolute Radio.
With the Etihad Stadium dates set to take place on the 17th & 18th June, the band will headline the opening night of T in the Park 2016 as the festival begins its second year at the new site of Strathallan Castle.
No news has surfaced as to whether or not we can expect new material at the shows but we’re excited to say the least.
Tickets for this year’s T in the Park from Friday 6th November.
