AFTER a long hiatus that has seen several of the band’s members embark upon solo excursions, New York’s indie punk icons The Strokes have announced a Hyde Park headline gig.
The gig, which will take place on 18th June 2015, will see the band play alongside bands includin Beck and Future Islands.
Taking to their social media the band posted: “’tis true! We’re returning to London to headline Hyde Park, London on June 18th. And we’re pretty damn thrilled that none other than Beck and Future Islands are joining us.”
The band are also confirmed for Primavera Sound festival this May. Tickets for the Hyde Park show go on general sale this Friday, 6th March 2015 at 9am GMT.
