THE Strokes are fresh from a huge Coachella comeback at weekend 1 of the California festival and today announce a UK tour. However Scottish fans will have to travel or wait for another announcement as there’s currently no Scottish date.
The band last played Glasgow at TRNSMT Festival in 2022, however the reaction wasn’t positive with both fans and the band complaining. One stage Julian Casablancas said: “My memories of Glasgow… always the most chaotic, violent shows of my life. This is a nice change of pace though. Next time, the Barrowlands.”
Is this the reason the band have missed out Scotland on the tour? Fans on X have speculated so.
The UK dates include –
Tuesday 6 October 2026 – The O2, London
Sunday 25 October 2026 – Utilita Arena, Newcastle
Monday 26 October 2026 – Co-op Live, Manchester
