THE Strokes are the first act to be confirmed to play Primavera Sound festival in 2015.
The festival takes place in Barcelona and will commence on 28th May 2015. Based in the city’s industrial El Parc del Forum venue, last year’s event saw acts including Nine Inch Nails, Jagwar Ma, Charles Bradley and Arcade Fire play.
The Strokes’ Julian Casablancas released his own album with The Voidz, his new band, earlier this year.
The festival also has a conference strand, featuring speakers and lectures from some of the most compelling names in music.
