TRNSMT Festival has announced dates for 2026 – and it’s taking place earlier than usual next year.
The Glasgow Green festival usually takes place in the second week of July but the 2026 edition is slated for 19th – 21st June.
No acts have been announced yet but the first wave of acts expected to appear in the next few weeks.
Geoff Ellis, the festival director, said: “TRNSMT is always evolving and it’s all about giving fans, artists and the city the best possible experience.
“There is no better way to kick off summer than with an incredible weekend of live music and that unbeatable Scottish crowd.”
Next year will also see the Commonwealth Games taking place in Glasgow, though the dates for the sporting event would not have clashed with TRNSMT’s traditional slot.
