TRNSMT Festival have announced a huge array of new artists who will be joining this year’s line-up.

Joining headliners Courteeners, Liam Gallagher and Lewis Capaldi, organisers have secured a true breadth in styles and sounds for this year’s event which returns for the fourth year in a row to Glasgow Green from . Friday 10th-12th July.

Set to host 150,000 music fans, the stacked bill will cater to fans of everything – from alt-rock emo kings Jimmy Eat World to rap and grime stars AJ Tracey, Ms Banks and Yxng Bane to Radio 1 favourites and fast-rising indie stars Dermot Kennedy, Declan McKenna, Sports Team, Beadaboodee and more.

Meanwhile a number of fast-rising Scottish artists and TENEMENT TV regulars will be making their TRNSMT debuts. Declan Welsh & the Decadent West, Gallus, Voodoos, The Ninth Wave, The Mysterines, Spyres, Luke La Volpe, Saint PHNX and more will play across the weekend at the King Tut;s and River Stages.

Glasgow’s own The Ninth Wave said: “We’ve had a massive few years from the last time we played at TRNSMT (early on during the Saturday), playing with Chvrches at The Hydro, touring in Europe and the USA and releasing our debut album INFANCY. It’s brilliant to now headline a stage at this year’s festival!”

Rising favourites Spyres said:

Playing TRNSMT is a huge deal for us! We’ve been previous years and it’s always a great weekend because it’s a home crowd. We can’t wait to play on a brand new stage along with other great artists, and have a class day.”

Luke La Volpe said:

“Class to be going to TRNSMT again this year and even better that I’m playing there for the first time. It’s a boyhood dream to play the big festivals so this is going to be huge. Let’s have it Glasgow.”
