RENOWNED indie rockers The Twang are giving Glasgow’s finest the opportunity to support them at their forthcoming O2 Academy show.

Set to embark on an extensive tour of the UK during the latter half of December, the band; who rose to prominence during the late noughties thanks to their revered debut album Love It When I Feel Like This, now intend to give one deserving Scottish act the chance to ply their trade in front of a crowd of potential new converts.

Taking place in the venue’s illustrious main hall, the Academy have outlined the entry requirements for the competition to be as follows:

“Entry is simple. We’ve created a Facebook group just for the search: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2273062252930152/
To be considered, simply post a link to your music (+ your social media account of choice) in the group. A shortlist of FIVE bands will be selected on November 29th and put forward to a public vote.”

Joined by bands ranging from Mona, Sugarthief and Cut Glass Kings throughout the duration of their winter jaunt, tickets for The Twang’s return to Glasgow are available now.
