twinaTWIN ATLANTIC have announced the forthcoming release of a self-shot collection of photography charting the band’s career thus far.

With the announcement coming mere days after their biggest ever headline show at Glasgow’s The SSE Hydro, the news came via their Facebook page with a statement from drummer Craig Kneale.

Within the brief post he explains the origins of the photos that are set for inclusion, stating: “I bought a camera about a year after I joined Twin Atlantic. At the time, it was just something to mess around with, to pass the time while we were travelling around. It’s something I kept up, and I got more into photography without really knowing anything about the technical side or what these pictures were for.

“Over the years, we’ve grown and got to travel to places and experience things I don’t think any of us really thought possible. Playing the drums in this band and getting to be part of these experiences with three of my best friends is a very special thing, and it’s something I want to share with other people. Looking back through these photographs, I feel the history of Twin Atlantic – seeing the everyday excitement and hardships that you go through trying to make it in a creative industry.”

Featuring images throughout the band’s career ranging from their modest beginnings to the heady heights that they’re currently experiencing, ‘A Short Photographic History of Twin Atlantic’ is set for release on an as yet unspecified date in December of this year.
