THE VACCINES
have provided a welcome insight into progress on their new record.

Despite the fact that they only released third record English Graffiti last year, it’s been made clear that the band are wasting little time in writing and recording their next full length LP.

Writing after parting ways with longstanding drummer Pete Robertson back in June, frontman Justin Hayward-Young has touched on the fact that recent times have been creatively productive by stating that “We’ve got like twenty songs – I don’t know how many of them are gonna end up being Vaccines songs. I think we’ll just record in the new year and see what happens.”

Speaking in reference to the sonic direction of the new material, he has claimed that they’re wary of replicating the past and always strive to do something different:

“There’s always been an ambition with this band to be better every time we make a new record and push ourselves. Nobody could accuse us of making the same record twice.”
