Lasting for a colossal five hours and eventually concluding with Albarn being physically (and rather comically) removed from the stage, the britpop legend’s star studded band performed until 4am on the festival’s final evening.

Featuring Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and the group Songhoy Blues as members, The jovial Albarn also took great delight in bringing fellow Blur member Graham Coxon and Laura Mvula onstage as special guests.

Performing The Clash’s iconic ‘Should I Stay Or Should I Go?’ towards the set’s climax as well as a stirring rendition Randy Newman’s ‘Baltimore’ with the aforementioned guests, it appeared that Albarn and his band were in rare form throughout the course of the performance.
