foalsFOALS recently stopped by Australian radio station Triple J to perform their own take on Mark Ronson’s ‘Daffodils.’

Recorded as part of the station’s prolific ‘Like A Version’ segment that has been embraced by everyone from Arctic Monkeys to Queens Of The Stone Age and beyond, this performance from Foals stands out as one of the finest they’ve ever been graced by.

Enhancing the already established groove that the track possesses thanks to their inherently funky playing style, the end product sounds as though it would have fitted seamlessly on their 2010 LP Total Life Forever.

Originally sung by Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, Yannis Philippakis enlists his signature drawl to give the track a slightly different aesthetic from the more placcid tones of its original vocalist.
