FOOTAGE has emerged of LCD Soundsystem’s anticipated return to performing last night.
Taking place nearly five years since their legendary farewell at New York’s lauded Madison Square Garden, James Murphy’s legendary outfit took to the stage at the city’s Webster Hall for the first show of a two night residency.
Despite Murphy proclaiming that the band are in the midst of recording new material and that their upcoming summer shows will feature excerpts from their first album since 2010’s This Is Happening, their first show at the venue was comprised entirely of fan favourites and existing material from throughout the course of their career.
Featuring tracks such as ‘Get Innocuous’, ‘Someone Great’, ‘All My Friends’ and ‘Daft Punk Is Playing At My House’, watch great fan-shot footage of the show below:
