iggyTHE incomparable artist that we all know and love as Iggy Pop performed at The Isle Of Wight Festival this weekend and all accounts suggest that it was a very special performance from the iconic frontman.

Taking pride of place on a bill that was partially curated in order to commemorate 40 years of the genre of punk that Pop paved the way for during his early days with The Stooges alongside Ron and Scott Asheton, this year saw the Detroit born artist return to the festival for the first time since 2011.

Having recently released his reported studio swansong Post Pop Depression alongside such luminaries as Josh Homme, Dean Fertita and Matt Helders, the festival has now released fantastic footage of him performing debut album classic ‘I Wanna Be Your Dog’ in all its manic glory.

Exhibiting the energy of a man 30 years his junior, it’s truly a spectacle to behold.
