LAUREN MAYBERRY took to the stage this weekend alongside The National to perform ‘I Need My Girl.‘
Occurring during their headline set at San Francisco’s Treasure Island Music Festival, The National’s frontman Matt Berninger introduced the Glaswegian singer before duetting with her throughout the track.
Taken from their 2013 LP Trouble Will Find Me’, the track has became something of an enduring fan favourite and is included in the vast majority of their live sets.
Mayberry received a rapturous reception as she made her way to the stage and in turn provided an interesting new dynamic to the track with her ethereal vocals.
