WICKERMAN festival has released its first batch of earlybird tickets, on sale for a limited period only.
From 9am today (Thursday 31st October) until midnight on Tuesday 5th November, fans can purchase 2014 weekend tickets at 2013 prices.
Available exclusively via Skiddle.com, the offer marks a landmark year for Wickerman, which saw the 2013 event sell out for the first time.
Next year’s bash will take place on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th July in picturesque Dundrennan in the Dumfries and Galloway countryside. A must attend event for festival goers, it will form part of Scotland’s 2014 year of Homecoming and play host to some new exciting features.
Early Bird prices are £95 for weekend adult tickets and £47.50 for weekend concession tickets, with tickets free for children aged 12 and under. For all those taking caravans or campervans a basic pitch costs £40 or £90 for a pitch including an electric hook up. These prices will be frozen until 5th November.
Full price tickets will go on sale from 6th November and will only be available to buy online from Skiddle.com until 1st December when you can then also purchase from a handful of outlets.
Highlights from this year’s Wickerman included an electrifying set from Scottish rockers Primal Scream, a high octane appearance from disco legends Chic featuring Nile Rodgers and festival favourites from Amy MacDonald, which left the crowds chanting her name long after she left the stage. Two days of sunshine further set the scene as fans enjoyed the eclectic line-up and relaxed festival vibe for which Wickerman is known.
