RENOWNED Edinburgh-based music conference Wide Days has announced its 2019 edition complete with an expanded programme.

Set to commence on the Thursday 11th April, the three day event will encompass talks, workshops and sessions that’ll both focus on Scotland’s exponentially growing industry and a newly calibrated eye towards international markets.

Staged in conjunction with PPL and The PRS Foundation, Wide Days will also grant Scottish acts and artists from around the world to showcase their material with applications open from today. With previous alumni including Be Charlotte, Catholic Action, Fatherson, Rachel Sermanni, Declan Welsh & The Decadent West, The Ninth Wave and SAY Award winner Kathryn Joseph, PRS’ Joe Frank has said of the event:

“We are delighted to once again support the Wide Days Showcase programme through our Open Fund for Organisations. As 2018’s event proved, Wide Days’ track record for unearthing talent and offering meaningful support to emerging Scottish artists and bands is outstanding. The platform is vital for national and international career progression and we look forward to seeing this year’s line-up.”

With full weekend lanyards available from £105, check out all details on how to apply for the showcase and procuring tickets now via their official site.
