Catholic Action are a slacker pop indebted rock outfit and one of the finest bands to align themselves with Glasgow’s fuzzkill stable. drawing influence from acts such as Pavement, The Strokes and a myriad of other US alt rock bands, they’ve grown exponentially in their short time together.

Having embarked on their first headlining tour of the UK last November in support of their cassette distributed EP, Catholic Action are gearing up to release a split EP with punk based group Poor Things at the end of the month.

Renowned for her unorthodox and visually stunning live shows, Fiona Soe Paing is an electronic producer whose music encapsulates a wide spectrum of niche genres, varying from Ambient to trip-hop.

Also set to be showcased at this year’s Fringe Festival in Creative Scotland’s ‘Made In Scotland’ exhibition, she gained notoriety during her spell as a support act for Public Service Broadcasting. Set to release latest single ‘Heartbeat’ in the near future, 2015 will also see her add a full length album to her catalogue.

With the two new announcements joining a diverse line up that includes Tijuana Bibles, C Duncan and Ded Rabbit, free tickets for both The Pleasance Theatre and Electric Circus showcases on 10th April 2015 are available here and here.
