WIDE DAYS have announced a special welcome party that will take place on Thursday 11th April.

Set to take over La Belle Angele before the conference kicks off the following day, the party has been curated by Glasgow’s fast-rising agency Antidote Booking and will feature a strong line-up of exciting homegrown talent. Man of Moon, Tom McGuire & the Brassholes and Carla J Easton will all perform at the event which will be free entry to those who have purchased a delegate pass.

Organisers have also shared details of their first panel discussions and speakers. This year sessions will focus on music publishing, European showcases and the relationship between journalists and PR. The first CMU:DIY workshop has also been confirmed as ‘Guide to Building an Audience’ while we will also see the return of the ‘A&R You Brave Enough?’ session aswell as a new lyric clinic with Dr David Hook aka Solareye.

Celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, Wide Days will take place  from the 11th-13th April. Extended to three days for the first time, the conference will feature its usual Friday night showcase programme alongside a new ‘Festival Takeover’ on the Saturday which will see three of Scotland’s best summer festivals guest programme a venue and provide a flavour of their events.
