XPOSUBMISSIONS for this year’s XpoNorth are open from 6pm tonight.

An Inverness based conference and showcase event which aims to highlight the best and brightest emerging talent from Scotland and even further afield, covering areas such as music, broadcast and publishing.

Its music showcase is immensely popular and has been frequented by bands such as Hector Bizerk, Catholic Action, Crash Club, Tijuana Bibles, Spring Break and many more in the last couple of years.

Formerly known as GoNorth, the window for musicians to submit their work to attain a place opens today and will close on Friday 1st April.

Taking place on the 8th-9th June  and based around the Highland capital’s  Eden Court Theatre, organiser Amanda Millen has stated ”

XpoNorth is famous for being the place where creative industry insiders spot ‘the next big thing’. Competition is always intense and our music and short film showcase sessions are always incredibly popular.”
