GLASGOW’S Alex Amor has shared details of a new EP ‘The Art of Letting Go’ – slated for release on 14th October.
The announcement coincides with the release of her new single ‘Bad Tattoo’, a collaboration with Manchester outfit The Deep Blue.
With sonic and aesthetic influences spanning Haim, Blood Orange and Porches, the singer strikes a nice balance between soaring indie-pop and dreamy alt-pop – her rich vocals aloft pulsing rhythms, shimmering guitars and crushing laps steel sections.
Understated yet moreish, it finds her reflecting on the aftermath of a relationship turned sour.
