BURSTING back onto the scene with an uncompromising attitude and new, punchier sound are Anteros with ‘Drunk’.
As the first to be lifted from their forthcoming EP, the Blondie-inspired track sees frontwoman Laura Hayden deliver one of her most confident vocals to date over swaggering rhythms and vigorous riffs. With a huge hook-laden chorus thrown in for good measure, the track possesses all the shimmer and glitz of 70s new wave while retaining a modern sensibility.
The accompanying video is very much rooted in the nineties; taking inspiration from classic films such as Trainspotting and Pulp Fiction as Hayden knocks back tequila on a disastrous date.
The ‘Drunk’ EP is released April 14th on Distiller Records.
