AFTER emerging in 2021 with her ‘Heartwork’ EP, Glasgow-based artist Ask Alice is already looking towards her next project.
The singer-songwriter, otherwise known as Natalie Joy Reid, instantly spiked interest with her transfixing debut release – building an otherworldly sound that oscillated between the dark and ominous to the melancholic and ethereal.
Her new single ‘Demonia’ picks up where she left off, inviting us back into her intriguing sonic world with purpose. Shrouded in darkness and mystery, Natalie’s soaring and meticulous vocals are delivered over long-time collaborator SERA’s slick production – all gloomy, crushing bass synths and atmospheric melodies.
A gothic beauty, it’s a hypnotic listen which marks a big step forward for the artist.
