AT TTV, we strive to bring you the best new music that comes our way from the most exciting artists – no matter the size, no matter the style.

This week, we’re highlighting one particular new release as our TTV RADAR TRACK OF THE WEEK – and it’s an absolute banger from electro-rock aficionados Autobahn 86.

With only a couple of releases to their name so far, the Glasgow-based outfit have certainly made their presence felt thanks to their invigorating and combative brand of electronica. First emerging last April with an emphatic desire to rally the masses at a particular trying time of the year, they introduced us to their bold manifesto with ‘National Health Service’ before doubling down on the Johnny Madden-assisted ‘Silence’.

Now, they’re back to spread their bold and unifying ethos – at a time when things things seem to be taking a turn for the worse again. ‘When The Lights Go Out’ is the kind of burst of high-octane energy we need. Once again merging the aggressiveness of punk with their own innovative, throbbing brand of electronica, they team up with another Glasgow punk stalwart – this time Connan Fullerton from SNASH. His harsh and intense vocal delivery matches the relentless, bass-heavy nature of the track – leaving us with a gripping display that shakes you to your very core.

It may be their first release of the year, but Autobahn 86 end the year in thrilling fashion.
