BIIG PIIG is back with her first new song of 2021 in ‘Cuento Lo’.
It’s an uncharacteristically dark number from Jess Smyth but it still bears all the hallmarks of a Biig Piig track. Singing in her native Spanish, her silky vocals are delivered over a deep, pulsing production as she touches on themes of corruption and alter-egos.
Brimming with atmosphere, it’s definitely one of her more menacing tracks to date. She comments” it’s an alter-ego-driven song about money, sex and power. The video is based around when I used to be a poker dealer, and it’s about the coldness and greediness that money can bring in all industries…including music.”
