THE
toast of music blogs far and wide ever since they greeted the world with their phenomenal debut single ‘You Pulled A Gun On Me’, Stockport’s Blossoms have went from strength to strength over the course of 2015 and head into 2016 with an enviable amount of momentum.

Obtaining a lofty position in BBC’s sound of 2016 poll and with a new EP set to be revealed in February, the band have celebrated all that’s went so well with their swaggering new track ‘At Most A Kiss’.

Sounding more self-assured than they ever have, ‘At Most A Kiss’ is laced with Bolan-esque glam rock decadence and a kaleidoscopic use of synth that set them apart from any other band that operates in the indie rock sphere. With pop sensibilities confrontationally emblazoned on their sleeves and a gutsy approach to rock ‘n’ roll that seems to be looking ahead into the horizon as opposed to being entirely derivative of the genre’s forefathers, it’s became abundantly clear that there’s no big conspiracy as to why the media are throwing themselves behind Blossoms, they’re simply that good.

The band’s EP of the same name will be released on the 19th February.
