BONNIE KEMPLAY releases her debut EP ‘Running Out of Things To Say, Running Out of Things To Do’ on 25th November via Dirty Hit.

The six-track collection was written over a three-year period in her most formative years as she reflected on personal experiences with a unique vulnerability and intimacy. Her diaristic approach to songwriting has gained her many fans all over the country, attracted by her universal relatability and tender alt-pop melodies.

Ahead of the EP’s release, she’s shared a fourth preview single called ‘Checkers’ – a song that draws on childhood memories and sibling bonding over the titular game. A poignant encapsulation of her tender folky sound, she elaborates: “‘Checkers’ is about ending a relationship with someone and reflecting on my ‘happy place’ as a distraction or coping mechanism.”
