EDINBURGH may have found its next music star with the arrival of young soul singer Brooke Combe.
After setting social media alight with covers of Arctic Monkeys, Joel Corry and more, the young singer-songwriter has released her debut single ‘Are You With Me?’
It’s a stirring soul anthem that finds Combe’s distinctive vocal surrounded by a stomping, full-bodied arrangement. Centred around big anthemic choruses, it’s a track we can imagine going down a storm on festival fields. More than that though, it indicates an artist with a very bright future ahead.
Recorded down in Parr Street Studio in Liverpool with The Coral’s James Skelly and Blossoms’ Charlie Salt, ‘Are You With Me?’ could be the start of something very special. If it’s a call to action, we can say we’re definitely with her.
Brooke Combe has also announced a date at Glasgow’s King Tut’s on 5th August 2021.
