THIS coming Monday (9th August), Brooke Combe will take to the King Tut’s stage to open the venue’s annual Summer Nights festival. Not only will it mark her first headline show in Glasgow, but also the first gig at the venue in 18 months – anticipation is high.

Ahead of the gig, the Edinburgh-based singer has released a stirring new ballad called ‘Used To Love Me’. As its title suggests, it’s a deeply personal tune, capturing the emotional aftermath of a relationship. Impeccably produced and emotionally vulnerable, it’s more restrained than previous offerings – her soulful vocals accompanied by a simple guitar melody.
