SINGER songwriter Cara McBride has released her latest relationship ballad ‘Toxic Love’ through Enough Records.
Written by Cara McBride and ILI (Emily Middlemass), the track explores conflict within relationships, where Cara connotes her lyrical influence to life experience, “Throughout my life I’ve seen people I love in a relationship with someone who treats them bad… but never bad enough for them to leave. This is your reminder to never settle for anything less, surround yourself with people who make you feel loved”.
Featuring production from Bruce Rintoul, “Toxic Love” demonstrates McBride’s ability to diversify the pop genre with intricately layered harmonies and creative instrumentation.
