AFTER years of gestation and rumours, Catholic Action’s debut album is no longer something that’s on the peripheries of possibility and is finally on its way. Although they’ve had the drive, talent and catalogue to make such a grand release for years, now unquestionably seems the opportune moment to pull the trigger as the spotlight continues to intensify over the course of 2017.

Set to play our very own Tenement Trail in September, the band have now unveiled the video for their superb, Margo Broom-assisted single ‘Propaganda.’

A track formed from equal parts disillusionment with rock and roll’s stagnation and a vision of a bright future that lies ahead,in subverting from it ‘Propaganda’ is one of their most immediate and rollicking numbers yet and is a perfect platform for their mesmeric, glam-rock tinged sound. Proving that frugality can be just as effective as big budget productions, the newly revealed video (complete with a handy Chinese translation) was recorded for just £7.68 and yet commandeers your attention from start to finish.

Their debut LP In Memory Of is due this Autumn whilst tickets to see the band at our Tenement Trial are available now.
