AMONG the most prosperous and committed bands to have emerged from our endlessly fertile scene in quite some time, every indication suggests that Catholic Action’s dizzying upward trajectory will continue throughout 2017.
Fresh from following in the footsteps of countless hall of fame worthy talents when they performed at the hallowed Maida Vale studios and bracing themselves for an upcoming tour, the band have shared the energetic new single ‘Doing Well.’
Continuing to diversify their sonic portfolio with each new offering, their latest track sees the group channel the angular, garage-infused sounds of The Strokes’ golden era albeit with their own distinctive edge. Laden with invigorating guitars and an irrepressible basslines, the four piece’s newest work also harbours one of the catchiest choruses we’ve heard this year bar none.
In conjunction with the release of ‘Doing Well’, the band have also announced that they’ve aligned with new indie label Modernsky who will distribute their debut album at a later date this year.
