AFTER a two year absence CHVRCHES returned last month with new single ‘Leave a Trace’ and the news that their second LP, Every Open Eye, would be released in the autumn (25th September).
Featured on Zane Lowe’s Beats One show today, the band shared the albums opening track and follow up single, ‘Never Ending Circles’.
Accompanied with a lyrics video, singer Lauren Mayberry again broaches the subject matter of an awry relationship through a fatalistic, shimmering prism while synths pound and vocal samples jut in and out. You can already feel your eyes clenching at the prospect of the light show that will accompany this one live.
