THE release of Courting’s debut EP ‘Grand National’ is getting closer and today we’re being treated to its rambunctious title track.
Energetic and tongue-in-cheek in a similar way to Sports Team and the like, the Liverpool outfit have been turning heads up and down the country with their razor sharp lyrcism and insanely catchy melodies,
Their new single ‘Grand National’ is full of the energy we’ve come to expect from the outfit but this time they stretch it out to three and a half minutes, their longest track yet. ‘Grand National’ hurtles along with raucous guitar melodies and Sean Murphy-O’Neill’s endlessly charismatic vocals.
The band describe it as “an anti-anthem for a generation nobly stirred by the cruelty of horse racing and the gambling industry propping it up”.
The ‘Grand National’ EP is slated for release on 9th April via Nice Swan Records.
