However, it appears that it’s quite the opposite as the Canadian experimental group known as Crystal Castles appear to be as alive and well as ever with new vocalist Edith Frances in tow.

Set to release their forthcoming new record in the near future, the band have revealed brand new track ‘Concrete’ along with its accompanying video.

Whilst the band’s personnel may have underwent a renovation, their musical manifesto still revolves around an intoxicating mix of pulsating and at times harshly rendered electronics aligned with unhinged vocals. Featuring some of the most invigorating synth stabs and bass that Kath has ever delivered, it’ll come as a sigh of relief to anyone that felt they’d be a severely limited force without Glass.

Featuring an eerie and chaotic video of new vocalist Frances (looking spookily like the vocalist that she replaced) making her way through a densely populated rave, check out the brand new track below:
