BOUNDING
onto the scene  last year with now well-loved tracks such as ‘From Nowhere’ and ‘Home’, Dan Croll immediately appeared to have all the attributes of a genuine indie pop superstar and delivered on early promise with his debut full length Sweet Disarray.

Seemingly unwilling to waste any time in cementing his status within today’s scene, Croll has now unveiled an entirely different side to his sound with ‘One Of Us’, a fierce and fast paced number that may well be an indication of things to come.

Opening with a jittery and pungent riff that recalls Queens Of The Stone Age on tracks such as ‘Songs For The Dead’, things soon take a turn for the more lighthearted with a deluge of glossy synths, energetic vocals and persistent percussion. Packing a chorus that is rendered in the style of modern psychedelia, Croll throws yet another curveball towards its climax thanks to an uproarious guitar solo that treads into the realm of modern day blues.

As is abundantly clear on this track, Dan Croll is hellbent on pushing the boundaries of modern pop and we’re incredibly excited to see where he’ll progress from here.
